The daily onslaught of work and stress faced by modern individuals often mirrors Cinderella's plight, enduring the torment from her stepmother and stepsisters in the fairy tale. After a long day, just as Cinderella found solace strolling through the gardens, we too yearn for a moment of respite amidst the hustle and bustle of today's fast-paced society.
The "Cinderella Universe" exhibition is a thematic journey that allows visitors to experience both the classical and contemporary urban iterations of Cinderella, all in one place. From gardens brimming with flowers to installations of teardrops symbolizing the emotions of sadness and joy, the exhibition is designed to reflect our multifaceted modern society. These sections aim to provide an opportunity for reflection on what 'true beauty' means in our diverse and complex world.
My responsibilities included:
Theme Projection: I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and projecting the main theme of the exhibition, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience that resonated with the narrative of classical and contemporary Cinderella.
Space Design and Decoration: I actively participated in constructing and embellishing the leftover spaces within the exhibition. My creative input was instrumental in transforming these areas into captivating and thematic environments that enhanced the overall visitor experience.
Graphic design: Our team designed leaflet, ticket, promotional posters to advertise exhibition.
Artist Contact: I reached out to and collaborated with various artists across Korea, inviting them to contribute to the exhibition. This involved coordinating their roles and integrating their work seamlessly with the exhibition's theme and layout.

The title "PEEK-A-BOO" refers to the playful game of peekaboo. Peekaboo, a game fondly remembered and played by many of us in our childhood, brings joy to young children and offers adults a chance to return to their innocent, childlike state.
Like a baby delighted by seeing a face hidden behind hands, visitors to the exhibition can rediscover the pure inner world they may have forgotten amidst the demands of social life. The exhibition provides an opportunity to unfold and revisit one's innate purity, often overshadowed by the complexities of daily societal interactions.
